From the moment we’re born we start exploring. We want to touch everything, to taste what we touch, to smell. We have no ideea if it’s harmful or not. We would put our hands in the fire, if our parents are not paying enough attention. Just because we don’t know how fire feels like, because we don’t have any previous record on the consequences of fire.
As we grow up, things do not change much. Maybe we don’t jump in the fire as if it was watter, but we still take big risks and get burned sometimes (in a metaphorical way). I think we take risks because we are curious, something pushes us to explore and try it out. We take risks, because the stake is high. We take risks because of the adrenaline of the moment. We take risks because we think it’s worth it. We take risks because we always desire something else that we don’t have. We take risks because we’re always on the run for something new.
Consequences?…that’s a different story. For every decision we take, there are always consequences. Good or bad, on a short-term or long-term. But they are there, as a reminder for what you did, for what you decided. Consequences may feel like summer rain on barren ground, like the most pure joy combined with Christmas magic powder or they may feel like…just barren ground. No rain, no wind, no vegetation. Hot burning sun.
Ain’t life like a coin? There are always two sides to everything.
Now I’ll leave you with some photos I have taken today.Hope you’ll enjoy them. Feedback is always appreciated 🙂
