I have read in an article that just as the wine gets better in time, this also applies in photography. According to the article it is better to have a second look at your photos after a couple since you made them. This way you can decide in a more objective way which one is better or if they are good at all. One can easily mistaken a good photograph with the good vibe and joy of the moment, but that doesn’t necessarily means the photo has a story to tell. Then again, I also like to think that photography is something personal from the world of the photographer shared with an audience.
In this case, I was somehow forced to not post these photos although they were made last summer. What I did noticed after half a year is that I still think the photos are wonderful.
Now a few words about the groom and the bride..
When two people love each other you can see it in their eyes, they just sparkle when they look at each other. You can see it in their gestures and in the way they talk to each other. Sometimes they don’t even need words.
And when this love is built on a powerful friendship it’s called “soulmates”.
Dani and Iza have found each other a long time ago, to be more precise 11 years ago. I also know them since back then. They are the best example of soulmates I’ve seen so far. I’m sure they didn’t had it easy but with every battle they won together, they have only grown stronger.
My most sincere wish to them is to grow old together!
