Blarney Castle – Irlanda

[RO]

In ultima sambata petrecuta in Irlanda amΒ  hotarat sa vizitam Blarney Castle.

On my last Saturday in Ireland my friend and I decided to go visit Blarney Castle. I have found the website while searching for places to visit months before I went to Ireland and this Castle was very close to Cork and it seemed beautiful and appealing from the photographs on their website.

To be honest I thought that in 2hours we’ll be done with walking through the castle and visiting the surroundings. Boy, was I wrong. We got a map in the city of Blarney of the castle and it’s garden and tried to visit all of them. Of course, we couldn’t, it was too much.

The weather was perfect. Sunny, a little wind, but clear blue skies. Couldn’t ask for more. There’s even a lake near the castle and stopped there to eat some sandwiches (that was our lunch).

I think you’ll be able to notice yourself how beautiful this place is. Heavenly might be a good word to describe it.

It’s also a place with a lot of history, but I will not bore you with these details. If you are curious about it and think of visiting I recommend to have a look on their website http://www.blarneycastle.ie/.

I hope you will enjoy my photographs. I will come back with a second post about Blarney Castle because I took so many photographs that day, it would be too much if I would include all of them in one single post.

Wish you all a lovely Sunday!
